Introduction

Hello!

I am a Creative & Content Writing Specialist, with an interest in blog writing, editing and proofreading, and organizational or procedure writing. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lee University; I majored in Communications with a Journalism focus, and minored in English Writing.

Currently I work part-time as a Worship Administrator & Coordinator at Fellowship Church, where I help plan Sunday morning services, help with rehearsals, meet volunteer needs, and plan special services and events.

Previously I worked at the non-profit College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) creating and implementing recruitment campaigns, teaching the company's new members about our services, promoting high-touch customer service via email and phone calls, and producing policy and procedures manuals for the entire staff. Because of this job, and my prior work as a Copy Editor and Page Designer for a newspaper, I have gained experience in both writing and editing. I have also worked as a bookseller at Barnes and Nobles, where I was able to learn about the book industry and grow my interest in publishing.

While my passion is storytelling, the venue for the story takes many forms for me, whether that be through life blogs, profile pieces, creative writing projects, or social media. I currently run a blog where I write movie reviews, share creative stories, and write about personal experiences. You can view this blog here

In addition to writing for myself, I have formed a passion for helping others tell their own story through editing and ghost writing.

I have been able to use this passion by editing three different books:

"My Fatherless Child" by Kwame Amoo-Adare (a memoir by a man serving life in prison)

"John Knux and the Missing Girl" by Bryan Kelsey (a sci-fi fiction novel)
"A Journey Through Hope" by Tracy Bateman (a booklet about Tracy's battle with cancer)

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have about my experience, or to contact me about a potential collaborative project.

I look forward to working with you on your next project!
